Mission statement: "to educate and influence the medical, research, breast cancer, and legislative communities to address breast cancer in women 40 and under, and to serve as a point of contact for young women living with breast cancer."

One of our closest friend's sister was diagnosed with breast cancer recently. Our late-night phone calls that used to be full of stories about my unbelievably beautiful toddler, the latest Ben Folds EP, and the newest sushi restaurant, soon became peppered with words like "biopsy," "mastectomy," and "chemo." Hopefully, our personal connection to this disease is over, but there are many others who are suffering and need help.
